After the devastating earthquake of 2010, John and I flew supplies to Haiti ourselves, and were touched by the wonderful people there. 137 displaced children ended up at the home of Claude Reginald Jean, a long-time humanitarian in Haiti, who turned his home into The Future Of Haiti Orphanage. Soon afterwards, they started a school, Institution Humanitaire Theta, where the children receive a high-quality education, including being educated in ethics and morals. Both the school and orphanage rely 100% on donations and the generosity of others for food, clothing, school supplies, and general operating expenses.
