Delphi Santa Monica

Delphi Santa Monica

In 2003, Kelly Preston and John Travolta, along with other parents interested in forming a school on the West Side rich in education and the arts, helped open Delphi Academy in Santa Monica, CA.

Kelly and John, together with Sky and Arwen Dayton (Delphi Academy Alumni) formed a founding committee. The founding committee established the dream of a Delphi in Santa Monica and helped raised the funds necessary to start the school.

Delphi Santa Monica opened in 2003. The school teaches classes from early Kindergarten through 6th grade, with an average teacher/student ratio of 1:12. Students who have attended Delphi Santa Monica are generally accepted into their school of choice such as Campbell Hall, Seven Arrows, The Mirman School, The Buckley School, Crossroads and New Roads as well as given priority status at the Delphi Academy in Los Angeles to continue their program through 12th grade.

The school offers an early reading program within a richly integrated curriculum that incorporates weekly art instruction (lessons), music and performance classes and academics – all in a highly personalized environment.
