Healthy Child Healthy World

For 20 years, the non-profit Healthy Child Healthy World has ignited the movement that empowers parents to protect children from harmful chemicals. The organization began in 1992 after five-year-old Colette Chuda died of a rare form of non-hereditary cancer linked to environmental factors. Just as it is important to use an infant car seat or cover electrical outlets from a toddler’s prying fingers, the simple shifts that Healthy Child recommends are critical to protecting the health of our children, who are now born with more than 200 chemicals in their bodies from pre-natal exposure. Until these toxic chemicals are eliminated from our environment, Healthy Child Healthy World is an essential resource for parents to access critical, consolidated information that can help them better protect their children, inspire healthier homes and communities—and, in essence, create a healthier world.

Fight For Kids

Fight For Kids was designed to promote the health, well-being and better education of children the world over. The purpose of Fight For Kids is to educate parents worldwide on the facts about today’s widespread practice of labeling children mentally ill and drugging them with heavy, mind-altering, psychiatric drugs. Armed in this way, loving parents will be able to prevail in the face of the enormous “drug children now” pressures so entrenched in society today. Protected in this way, our children will be spared the totally unnecessary misery of a drug-hazed youth, succeeded by the risk of a drug-consumed adulthood.

Surfers Healing

Surfers Healing was founded by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz. Their son, Isaiah, was diagnosed   with autism at age three. Like many autistic children, he often suffered from sensory overload–  simple sensations could overwhelm him. The ocean was the one place where he seemed to find respite– surfing had a profound impact on Isaiah. Israel and Danielle decided they wanted to share this unique therapy with other autistic children. They began to host day camps at the beach where autistic children and their families could be exposed to a completely new experience of surfing.

The Earth Organization

The Earth Organization is an international, grass-roots, non-profit organization founded by veteran South African conservationist and explorer Lawrence Anthony, who recognized that new solutions were necessary to reverse the dwindling spiral of life on Planet Earth. The environmental issues that face Earth today are no longer the question of our times, they are the issue of our future. The Earth Organization is the first environmental movement that truly understands the relationship between man, the environment and plant and animal kingdom. It is totally true that “none survive alone” and when one realizes that our very own survival depends upon the well-being of ALL life on this planet, we start to understand that we are the ones responsible for the state that we find Earth in today.

Drug Free Kids

As a concerned Hawaiian and a parent, I want to do everything in my power to help our children stay away from the trap of drug abuse. We all know about the “ice” problem in Hawaii and how drug abuse is taking its toll on our children and families and wreaking havoc on our beautiful islands. I grew up on Oahu and I know what kids have to deal with. They are faced with pressures to experiment with and do drugs.

We can do something effective about this. If we take responsibility for our kids and educate them on the devastation and pain that drugs inevitably leads to, we will keep our future generations from falling prey to this. The Teaching Your Kids the Truth About Drugs Parent kit, gives you the tools to do exactly that. I offer you this kit free — it gives you all the facts and information you need so you can talk to your children about drugs and help them make the correct decisions.

Help me work toward the goal of a safe, healthy and drug-free Hawaii.
